"Use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace."
1 Peter 4:10

Antiochian Women: The Antiochian Women are considered the foundation of our Church, and they are involved in numerous spiritual and fundraising activities which benefit the broader community.

Teen SOYO: The Teen SOYO is amongst the most active organizations in our Parish. The society is involved in all aspects of Church life, which includes spiritual, social, and charitable activities. They excel at having fun while serving Christ's Church.

Fellowship of Saint John the Divine:  The Fellowship consists of young adults who aim to follow the example of their patron St. John the Divine, who was the youngest apostle and among the closest to Jesus. Members of the Fellowship are involved in spiritual, social, and charitable activities.

Parish Council: The Parish Council represents the Church in the administration of its properties and affairs. The Council is formed by mature members of the community who are elected by the general membership.  The Priest also sits on the Parish Council.   Parish Council members frequently partake in the sacraments, participate in social and fundraising projects, and can serve as an example to fellow Parishioners.  The current president and VP are Michael Haddad and Affaf El-Jakl, accordingly.

Doors Open CommitteeDoors Open Halifax is an event which aims to enhance the public's knowledge of local heritage, history, and environment.  In 2014, Saint Antonios joined the effort and opened its doors during the June 7th weekend.  Approximately 650 people visited the site, and there was a wonderful turnout by former Anglican members of Saint Matthias, whose enthusiasm was contagious.

Alter Boys: The altar boys assist the Priest by serving at the altar during Church services.

Sunday School:  The Church's Sunday School helps convey the Orthodox Christian faith to young individuals in the Parish. Our teachers are volunteers, and there is no fee associated with attendance.  We are particularly grateful to Hind Haddad, Mona Awad, Caroline Nasrallah, Gracia Makhoul, and numerous others, for the countless hours they've invested in the Sunday School.
